SOCIAL ACTIVITIES:
Conference excursion to Istanbul historical highlights on Wednesday 29 June 2011 (65 Euro per person):
This is a full day guided tour including all entry fees, transportation and lunch at water front Konyalı Restaurant in Topkapi Palace. Hippodrome, Blue Mosque, St. Sophia, Topkapı Palace, Grand Bazaar and Basilica Cistern will be visited.
Bosphorus Boat Tour on Tuesday evening (35 Euro per person):
This is an evening round trip boat tour along the Bosphorus from the Black Sea to the Marmara Sea. An open buffet dinner will be served during the trip, including all soft and alcoholic beverages.
DETAILS OF SOCIAL ACTIVITIES FOR ACCOMPANYING PEOPLE:
There will be 3 sightseeing trips for the accompanying people that are registered to the conference. The shuttle bus will be free of charge, museum entry fees and lunches will be paid by the participants. A student will join the trip to help the participants.
Monday June 27: Sightseeing tour to TAKSIM and BEYOGLU (ISTIKLAL STREET), Galata Tower, Galata Bridge, Spice Bazaar.
Shuttle bus to Taksim; from campus @ 9:30 am, Fuat Paşa @ 9:45 am.

Tuesday June 28: Sightseeing tour to DOLMABAHÇE PALACE in the morning, lunch at ORTAKÖY, BOSPHORUS tour in the afternoon, tea at RUMELİHİSARI.
Shuttle bus from campus @ 9:00 am, Fuat Paşa @ 9:15 am.
Thursday June 30: Sightseeing tour to MINIATURK (You can find 120 miniature models of all major touristic structures in Turkey) in the morning, KOÇ MUSEUM in the afternoon.
